I wanted to do one more drawing with a female in it before I started drawing guys. I'll start on either Brad Pitt or Kurt Cobain later today. But anyways, about this drawing, it is the beautiful Heather Graham mid-laugh, the expression was kinda hard to capture, in fact this is my second attempt. The first one is crumpled up at the bottom of my garbage can. I couldn't get the proportions right, and her face didn't look right. Hopefully i did a better job with this one. The left side was out of focus so the texture of the hair didn't show individual strands as well as the right side. I was too lazy to sharpen my pencil so the everything except the face has a somewhat rougher texture. And I didn't feel like filling in the black background so i left it like that. this is so awsome, dude! i love her eyes and the shine on her lips like she's wearing lipgloss, and you've captured her expression so well. i love the shading you've got going on there.

This is really good. When the picture was loading, i could only see her eyes, so I was a little unsure about the likeness, but then i saw her smile, which uncovers her entire indentity! Very accurate, precise.

I love the expression on her face. I especially love the eyes, they appeal most to me. You're just great with drawing. How I envy your talent!

Oh oh oh! the imperfections? the nose is really well done, but the line under the nose cuts it off from the rest of the face. . beacuse right after the nose, everything above her upper lip looks FLAT. what happened to that little cute ridge under the nose, above the upper lip? Also, you may need a wee bit more shadow by the right edge of her mout. . since she is laughing, isn't that pulling back her cheek, into a bit of a shadow? who knows...maybe the lighting wasn't such. Anyway. good good work.

I don't like Heather much, as far as her features go, but I think you did an exellent job capturing her expression.
I really dig the teeth. . they are hard to get right, but you are right on point. the eyes turned out well also, and the hair. . .don't even worry about it it looks great. I love that sharp shadow under her jaw. . .
the only gripe? wish there was not this glow-like background around her. . I'd leave it all black.

Great use of shading and textures- the eyes are wonderful in this piece, and the mouth is incredibly well drawn- I'm not sure I can crticize this work much at all, and I couldn't believe it's only one fave, but I can fix that.

th hair looks better (but the lower parts are a little bit rough)
