This one went by really fast. I didn't mean the background to look that abstract or blobby, but I think it worked out alright. I guess the main focus for me was the water, and it seems weird, but the girl was a mere afterthought. She seems like the realist bridge between the uber-abstract background and the water scene with all its relfections and hard edges. I actually had to redraw her face 3 times because I kept smudging it accidentally when I was working on the background. The face was really dainty and minimalistic, one of those where you have to sharpen your pencil insanely small and have a real gentle touch where each stroke counts. I was surprised when I got it looking right each of the three times.
