Well.... A something something I put together when practicing on some light water color techniques someone tried to show me. I'm kinda found of it, but I don't feel so comfortable with so little color in the picture.I'm more used to a lot of different colors in the shades I draw... So this was something new... yes... And oh, the scanner ruined a little of the actual outcome. So I tried to fix it up as good as I could... not good X'D
This is the first picture of Demion in his real form.
He's a Snow leopard Gryphon!!!
*long name //shoot//* Well, he's basically a very strong six winged snow gryph. He usually hides his last pairs of wings because they can get pretty unmanageable while walking on the ground. So if you see him as a gryph, you will only see one or two pairs of wings. This race is a rare sight, as he is probably the last of his kind, they went extinct a while back when a sorcerer discovered a spell that could weaken them. In some parts of the world "creatures" was a great pet for rich humans... And there were a lot of hunters interested in extra money.
The problem was, when they caught these gryphons and put them in cages, they either starved them self to death or killed to many to be kept alive. A generation later the knowledge of the spell and it's use disappeared with the last snowgryphons...
Demion is kinda lucky, since he never uses his real form among humans they have come to think he is a demon. NO ONE MESSES WITH A DEMON!!!!

I have never been too much of a fan of words with the picture, but the words aren't too bad... with the exception of the misspelling of strength. I would have added more colors in there, but in a snowy place this is reasonable. Not a fan of the red eyes though, It seems really impractical. The wings are pretty but a little to thin. I would try to add some for more textures. I like the details on the feathers and the fur. The legs are a little stiff though, but I like the feet. I hope I helped!

I really like the idea but I think that if you threw in some other colors it would be easier to look at and not so much blinding white. On the other hand if you colored in the background just a solid color I think it might have improved the look a bit because it just looks to plain at this point in time. I really like how you drew the wings though! It looks very cool! I think the tail might be a little bit to fluffy compared to the body but I think you did really well drawing this

Wow, never expected Demion to look like this in his real form!
The beak makes his face really interesting. I like the way the pattern of his fur fades a bit into his wings. And did I ever mention that I really envy you for the wings you draw? They're always so majestic! You're really good at this!
Maybe the coloring could have used a bit more contrast but in general I really like the icy colors in this one!
So Demion's also a beauty in his original form, I think I like him even more this way.

I worked long with his design(actually I "finished" it a few weeks ago)
I've been drawing wings since I can remember, but there are a lot of tutorials out here on DA helping me. It's amazing how people takes their time helping you 
I'll try more contrast next time, ur right, it gets pretty boring with only one color, even if ur trying to make a cold impression.

I really got to like him after drawing and coloring him for so many hours.
Everyone has some things he tends to draw quite often I guess, like your wings. But you really can see how many effort you spent in drawing wings, that's why they look so great now!

It may be difficult to mix those 2 emotions but you have nailed it in my oppinion.
White on white is allways tricky to draw properly which you also have done quite well, this is definetly a drawing you can push to great heights.
