I am running Windows XP.
-RocketDock (the Mac bar on top)
-Rainmeter and several pony skins (WOO ANIMATED RD ITUNES PLAYER)
-Wallpaper Toy, to have the wallpaper change like Win7
-Styler, for the Windows 7 overall look on the start menu and windows
-Windows 7 mouse and sounds, pulled from my friend's computer
-AeroSnap, System Explorer (a better Task Manager), and Taskbar Shuffle, for Win7 capabilities
-IconTweaker, for Windows icon editing
-Pon3 Firefox skin, pony icons
-FastAero, for Win7 styled transparency on the windows

I have to turn some things off to play CPU-grabbing things like Minecraft or Amnesia, but for general everyday usage like surfing the web or Photoshopping, the laptop can handle fine. If your RAM is over 2gb and your CPU doesn't spike to 100 when playing Minecraft, you'll be able to run these things too. Just thought I'd share, I hope you download some of these free programs too!
