Un, deux, trios... Cinq? ~ Chapter 1

A girl in a long black hooded coat kicked out the stand for her motorcycle and looked up at the tall building just about ten metres away from her. A few seconds later she heard a beeping noise and dipped her hand into her right hand pocket, pulling out a white flashing earpiece.
"Krystal reporting for duty." She smirked as she clipped the earpiece into her ear.
"KRYSTAL!! Geez, how many times do I have to tell you to keep your communicator in your ear! It's not just for show!" Krystal then pulled the earpiece out of her ear slightly so it wasn't too loud.
"That's why. You keep shouting at me every time I put the communicator into my ear, one day I'll be death and won't be able to do my job. Boo hoo..." She started rolling her eyes as she clipped the communicator into her ear once more and started rummaging in her motorcycles seat compartment.
"Krystal... You and I both know you can take anybody out even if you were on your last legs." Krystal started considering taking the communicator out of her ear for the final time and just make a break for it.
"Krystal, I know you don't like this job, but you have to fill in for your father... After all you know the code..." The voice on the other end started reciting the code before Krystal took over.
"Anyone who's a descendant of the 'Legendary Five Assassins' has to contribute to the 'Legion of Assassins' for honour, for our people and to finally be free of the government. Yeah yeah I know. I was told that story a million times from the age of five. How the government took over our country, cut off all communications from the outside world and ended up having their own empire yadi yadi yah. Don't have to tell me a million more times Katrina." Krystal then flicked back her hood and ran her fingers through her light blue hair, in this modern day it wasn't unusual to have a natural hair colour of something other than black, blonde, auburn and brown.
"So, Katrina, remind me what the date is?" Krystal then put on her belt and loaded up on her weapons while listening to her.
"The 19th of July, 2100. Remember? The age of technology. Fun fun fun..." Krystal could detect the annoyance in Katrina's voice.
"Hey, at least the internet won't go down on you like it did before you joined the Legion" Krystal gave a slight smile even though Katrina couldn't see her, she would always try to cheer her colleagues up before the mission. Even if it was a search and destroy objective. Katrina laughed slightly before typing into a computer for a map of the area and sighing.
"Right, shall we carry on? There's a manned cloaked helicopter making rounds of the building, it's on the south side and making an anti-clockwise round. No search light but it has the latest in heat detecting cameras. My suggestion, hide your motorcycle and make a beeline for the building while... Krystal... Why can I hear your motorcycle engine?" While Katrina was going through the observation Krystal had managed to devise a plan of her own, sure she would get a few bumps and scratches but it would save a lot of time. She then got onto her motorcycle and revved it up.
"KRYSTAL!!! Your attracting attention to yourself! Get out of there now! I'm gonna.." Before Katrina could say anything else she was cut off by Krystal turning the communicator off. After a few seconds a digital map showed up on her windscreen, showing the map of the area and the building.
"Ground level, going up a few floors!" She revved the motorcycle one last time and shot past the broken down buildings beside her. In just seconds the curb was at the front of her wheel and she was flung into the air, her head was heading straight for the glass windows and Krystal put her arms in front of her head to protect herself.
"Un... Deux.... Trois..." Smash... She had gone through the third floors window and was lying on a ground covered in broken bits of glass.
