Edit: Changed the file again. *Malignant-Librarian pointed out that it would look good if Kagome's pants were colored in, as well.My first submission for Sketchavember .
A little something to to kick off the month. I've been dying to draw these two together since... forever. <3
Loosely inspired by Forthright's fanfiction, "Lord Charming" and "Imperceptible". Check 'em out. They're adorable.
Personally, I love that Sesshoumaru got his arm back. I think it shows that he developed as a character and sought power within himself instead of clinging to this desperate notion that he needed something of his father's to be strong.

This is mind-blowingly gorgeous, but I do have one question... isn't Kagome helping him in LC because he's missing his left arm still?
That aside, The way you've drawn both of them is so lovely. I love his fluff in particular, the stylized look you've used looks amazing. Their hair, clothes, faces, shadows... everything is so beautiful!

True. Hence why the piece is only "inspired", not a direct fanart of the story. Personally, I love that Sesshoumaru got his arm back (and Bakusaiga, mostly). But I've been wanting to draw Kagome and Sesshoumaru together for awhile anyways, and "Lord Charming" is such a cute story that the title just seemed right for the piece.

Makes sense! Sorry I miss-interpreted the intent, I'd literally just finished reading the newest chapter, so I had it in the brain. 
Tell me about it! Bakusaiga and everything surrounding it were some of my favourite parts of the entire tale; she did such an amazing job with it.

I love how you did his moko-moko! It's very cool 
If I were to give any criticism (which I kinda have no right to since I can't draw for crap), it would be that the shading of Kagome's eyes makes her look a bit like she's drugged out... I think her nose and mouth are just fine, but there's something about her eyes that just makes me think they look strange. Maybe it's that Sessh's eyes are so much smaller than hers?
Oh, and the decision to shade in Kagome's pants was definitely the right choice! Overall, this picture is gorgeous! I love how you vary the thikness of lines in your lineart. It makes the picture seem like it doesn't even need colors to be complete

No, it's quite okay. I love to get critique.
I didn't shade her eyes, but I do kind of understand what you mean. I did a semi-fill hatching on her pupils (the irises aren't colored in), and that might be what is weird. Plus, I inked this traditionally, so the lines had to be darkened to make them more readable. I can go back in and clean away some of the underlying pencil marks and see if that clears it up.
But as far as the differing eye shape between the characters, that was intentional. To me, Sesshoumaru comes off as this cool, somewhat indifferent character who doesn't necessarily lack expression, but is careful with how he portrays himself. Hence why his eyes are narrower and much more... predator-like. Kagome puts me in the mind of an expressive character who loves wholeheartedly and truly, so I made her eyes larger and more expressive. Just to show the dynamic between the two characters. However, if that's not being conveyed, let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it.

Yeah. Actually, I just changed the file to the newer, fixed version. I shifted Kagome's eyes farther apart. Let me know if it looks better? It'd be nice to see if the change worked. <3
