Description I took this a few weeks ago, when i re-visited Durham with my best friend. £5 well spent to climb the tower... getting to the top wasn't as bad as the last time around.

I managed to just miss the rain from that big bad cloud to the left, i was lucky...

Really nice!

The view doesn't appear to be that bad... though I guess you could have straightened the shot/frame a bit there, but other than that.. it feels as if there is a lot of nature, and forest around?

It's pretty cool how it feels as if the trees are the natural inhabitants, and the houses the.. 'aliens', in a sense.

Great stuff, though.

Thanks

Yeah, the houses are just sitting there, There is such a contrast of old and new, which I like. The further out you get, the newer it gets for the most part...

That river looks quiet brown. Is it always like that, or was it just rain that caused that?

It's always brown 24/7, it's because of all the mud from the banks. In the shallows, it's yellowish from the sediment.

I plan on rowing it soon, hoping i don't fall in xD...
