cookie Joe opened his eyes. "w......w.....where am I? where's dark Joe?" he looked around and saw that he was surrounded by branches and apples. "wait.....am I in an apple tree?" he wiggled a little and fell to the ground. Cookie used his magic to brush the twigs and leaves out of his mane and let out a sigh. "I guess Dark Joe is finally dead....I think. I don't see him anywhere". He looked around then looked down. He saw a small rock near the base of the tree. He picked it up with his magic and noticed it wasn't just a normal rock, it was a small piece of dark Joes which was turned to stone. He could tell by the small section of his cutie mark on one side. Cookie Joe held the small stone to his heart and began to cry. "he's gone.....he's finally gone...." He smiled as tears of joy grazed his face. Then he stopped......and looked around..."what was that?" He heard and loud THUD pretty close from where the apple tree grew. "who's there? applejack? big mac? spike?"
he looked around the apple trees then saw who was making the sound. It was applejack who just kicked one of her apple tree. all the apples fell into the baskets below as she crossed her front hooves in satisfaction. Cookie Joe was going to run out and give her the biggest hug in all of Equestria but stopped. He noticed princess twilight walking to applejack with spike by her side. but the weird thing was twilight wasn't an alicorn. she had no wings and she looked a little annoyed. So Cookie hid in a nearby bush and watched from a distance. twilight walked up to applejack with a smile and said "good afternoon, my name is twilight sparkle" applejack grinned very wide and shook her guests hoof. "well howdy do miss twilight! a pleasure making your acquaintance." Cookie Joe stepped back in disbelieve. "no.......no this cant be.....this is back when aj met twilight..." He thought to himself and remembered Dark Joes words."only that if my soul is destroyed, time will reset and your friends and family wont even know who or what you are. it will be like you were never even born." His tears of joy became tears of sadness. "s....so since I killed dark Joe, applejack has no idea who I am, Lyra and bon bon have no idea who I am, and I have no where to live. and I see time has reset to when twilight first came to ponyville." cookie Joe watched more as applejack introduced her family. He saw how big everyones smiles were and he dried his eyes. "well.....they all do seem rather happy. and if time is reset.......then...." a small sense of hope grew upon his face has he made his exit. He ran threw pony and stopped. He started to smile and began to cry with joy once more. there stood the house next door to lyras and bon bons that was burned down. a father opened the door as two small fillies walked to school with smiles on their faces. "you girls stay safe and I love u two so very much". He waved as he saw his two perfect little girls went to school. He looked and saw cookie just standing there with tears in his eyes. "excuse me sir but why are you crying? today is a beautiful day to be alive don't you think?" Cookie wiped the tears away and said "its just seeing how happy your family is makes me happy as well. your happiness is contagious I guess." Cookie Joe and the father of two began to laugh together. "well, I hope you have a great and fantastic day ya here?" Cookie nodded and smiled back " I will, and thank you." the father walked back into his house and closed the door. "maybe this isn't a bad thing. Maybe this is for the best. applejack never knew me but it looks like she's happy the way she is now with her soon to be best friends." He walked down the bright and happy town until he bumped into a white mare with pieces of candy as a cutie mark. "HEY,watch where your going next time stranger!" "oops,sorry." said Cookie blushing. He continued walking and thought to himself. "if this is the past, then if I go be applejacks friend,then this whole thing could happen all over again. I better leave town and start a new life away from ponyville and everyone in it." he walked until he got to the train station. "1 ticket to manehatten please". He got the tickets and waited for the train. As he waited, He thought of all the memories he had growing up in Ponyville. The train came and stopped to load up more passengers. Cookie Joe found a nice window seat and the train started. He looked out the window as ponyville went by. "goodbye ponyville, goodbye applejack, goodbye everypony." He smiled and closed his eyes for a nice well earned nap. Some say he still lives somewhere in Manehatten and he opened a bakery. and some others say he moved to Canterlot. Who knows? Cookie Joe is just an old ponies tale some say, but to me, he was real.
