Description
It was a morning like no other, snow had covered every part of the meadows and water. Frost nipped at the heels of the young colt as he pushed his way through the thick snow. "Ashwin! Where are you going?" His father called out after him, hiding in the shelter of a tree. "I'm just going to make sure Taima is alright! I heard the eastern herds got hit pretty bad!"
"Okay, but be safe my son!" Ashwin continued through the snow, holding a shiny red apple in his mouth.

Through the blinding snowstorm the young mare, Taima, could see a bright, shining object moving towards her. As the object came closer Taima could clearly see a beautiful red apple, and Ashwin who carried it in his mouth. The mare stood there shocked, grass had been a rare sight lately but to find an apple was near impossible as the trees had lost their leaves and fruit weeks ago. "Ashwin!" She called out as he stood in front of her. "What are you doing here? The snowstorm is crazy you could have easily gotten lost." A smile touched at the edge of Ashwin's lips, 'So she does have a soft side' he thought to himself quietly. "Well I wanted to give you this." He extended out his head and placed the apple in front of her. "Go on, take it!" Taima ate half of the apple before nudging it back towards Ashwin. "You can have the other half, its got all your spit on it anyway." She smirked at him before swishing her tail playfully. "Follow me I have something to show you!" Ashwin rolled his eyes before eating the rest of the apple, "Mares."
