Description
A coloured pencil drawing of a group of the main Simpsons characters, done in 2010. Similar to my Futurama one: [link] I had to take a photo of it, as it was too big to scan >.< Please download it to see all the detail
My picture was inspired by this amazing picture by : [link] (And the poses in their picture were, in turn, based on this official picture: [link] )

Wow, thanks for the compliments, but I don't think I deserve a DD at all - especially not on this OAO It's two years old, and just a photo of the picture as opposed to a good-quality scan - not to mention that the poses are based on those in a piece that already has a DD ^_^; (this: [link] )

Well, it was a while ago - but I can remember drawing one or 2 characters a day, until they were all drawn in, and then doing the same with coloring.. And with the background as well, it took at least a month of doing a bit a day to finish XD

Yeah, I like the original better, too ^^ Mine was just an attempt at a sort-of tribute, which didn't come out so well XD
Oh, but I didn't trace it - I never trace anything in my pictures (as you can probably tell, with the proportions being off, etc. ^_^; ) Plus this one was done on a huge A2-sized piece of paper (which is why I couldn't scan it >.<)

Now that I've looked at the DA picture I linked to again, it turns out that they said it was based on an official picture, and gave a link to it, but it doesn't work any more. Thanks for telling me about it, and giving me a working link!
I'll keep the link to their picture in the description, as it was that picture that gave me the idea to draw it anime-style, but I'll link to the offical picture, too. Again, thanks for telling me ~

Did you know though that ... (I THINK. Yeah, it's got to be like that) The picture this was inspired from, is based on an official picture in the usual Simpsons style, but it got transferred to another style, that was the deal with the picture ...
