Personality
Anti-social / isolated.
Ryuu is isolated since he's a kid. His friends often says that he has "no life" because he almost has no friend. But that's just how he is. He hates talking to others because he said it's a waste of energy. Mostly if it's just a small talk and not important at all. It makes him looks hard to approach. However, if you comes to him and talk about something he likes and important, he can spend hours to accompany you talking. But remember.

Perfectionist.
He think everything need to be perfect. If they're not, he said that they should be thrown away or burnt. This trait apparently what makes him hated yet respected by many people. Glad that he's anti-social. If he's not, he might be hanging around and pointing out everyone else's flaws. But, this trait is very useful when you ask for critiques. He'll give a logical and deep critique.
Intelligent.
Since he's anti-social, he spend most of his time reading encyclopedia and studying. And since he's perfectionist, he study real hard to get a perfect score on every assignments and tests. Not to mention that his mum and his dad are also intelligent. It's like the intelligent inherited to him. However, he'll become so down when he failed. He even could lock himself in his room and refuse to eat for 3 days!
Confident.
His intelligence and looks mainly the reason he really loves himself. He's confidence in everything he do. And he really likes to get compliments. Mostly if it's about his paintings / drawings / scores.
Sadistic.
Like mentioned in his "likes", he's a sadistic person. He might looks normal and ordinary but he feels no mercy toward anyone. He also really enjoy seeing people in pain. He loves seeing bloods, hearing painful screams, and anything like that. However, he's well educated and he knows that he shouldn't torture someone in his room. Or even somewhere public. (seriously.) Biography

Born in Tokyo, comes from a rich family.
His dad was a famous doctor in Tokyo.
His mum was a successful artist in Japan.
Ryuu was living every kid's dream...

-Kindergarten-
He goes to a kindergarten where only rich kids could enter. During that period, Ryuu looks like another shy kid that refuse to talk. Every break time, Ryuu likes to bring his drawing book and crayons to the park and stay under a tree alone. He is known as the "young artist" among the kindergarten teachers because of that.

One day, his parents hired a servant named Aoi. Aoi is a kind, gentle, and truly loves Ryuu. Aoi was the only best friend Ryuu has that time. Not to mention Aoi makes delicious desserts. (This is the reason he loves desserts.) When Ryuu feels down because he missed his parents, Aoi takes him to a quiet place and sing a lullaby for him.

-Elementary School-
Then he goes to a rich-student only elementary school in Tokyo. Now Aoi works at his family as his personal servant.

The first 3 years of elementary school was the same as his kindergarten. Those years are also where Ryuu discovered that he's really good at math and he often gets compliment from his drawings. He wasn't as isolated as he was in kindergarten, but he still hates talking. He starts to have some friends. Although they're not so close with him.

When he's 10 years old, things start to happens.
His mum and dad starts to fight real often because his dad suspect that his mum cheated on him (really.). His dad would beat his mum and yells at her. It was a terrible sight to see. Usually, Ryuu would stay with Aoi in his room and ask Aoi to sing a lullaby while his parents fights outside. Sometimes Aoi make him delicious desserts. The servant never failed to calm him down. During this time, he develops his apathetic personality. He seems don't care about anything else because he's afraid. He doesn't even care about what happened outside. He knew it was scary, but he didn't care.

Since of the chaotic environment in his house and the fact that many of his family servants are quitting because they feel uncomfortable, Aoi, his only best friend and personal servant, forced to quit too. It was Ryuu's father request. He said it is best that their family no longer have servants. His father was too stressed out to pay the servants too. They were in a really bad condition. Since he has no one that time and staying in his room without Aoi seems boring, he encouraged himself to go out during his parents fight. (Because he's a kid, this thing matters...) Unexpectedly, he gains pleasure by seeing his mum got tortured. (Bad Ryuu! Bad!) Then... he start to imagine dark things filled with blood and pain. He even made a poem about it~

Later on, when he was 11 years old... right on his birthday, his parents divorced. He's forced to choose between his dad and mum. He decided to choose to stay with his dad. It was his worst birthday gift ever. The divorce made him pressured. Mostly the fact that he's still a kid. He even tried to suicide by drinking a poison. He drank it, but he's still alive.

...Apparently, he mistaken a bottle of wine as a poison. However, his dad didn't even know about the suicide attempt.

- Middle School / Junior High -
Middle School. This time, he goes to a high average private school in Tokyo. This school wasn't only filled with rich people.

The divorce of his parents was terrible. But he managed to get over it. He's still an antisocial. But during middle school, he's popular because of he's smart and he's talented in art. He managed to get straight A's in his report card for 3 whole years. Life's seems good here.

It's just that... he gets picked up because he antisocial. The school bullies would call him names but they're afraid to beat him. And also, he starts to read and watch horror and sadistic stories.

He attempted to suicide once more. He was about to hang himself. But it failed once more. And again, his dad was too busy to notice him. He kept it all to himself.

He managed to graduate middle school with a straight A's report. The principal concerned about the bullying acts in the school. He knew that Ryuu deserves to go to a better school where he'll be treated nicely. Also, the principal thinks that Ryuu should try to act like a better person and be less antisocial. Then he recommended Tachikawa High.

- Summer before starting Tachikawa High -
The summer before starting TH? He's just there and sleeping in his bed, being lazy. Once, he tried to drown himself in his bathtub. He enjoyed his bath and he fell asleep. But his dad figured it out and saved him. His dad thought he really just fell asleep. It wasn't an attempt of suicide. So he didn't do anything about it.

His dad thought that maybe they should spend some time together. Since seeing Ryuu fell asleep in bathtub he thought that Ryuu must be really bored at home. Ryuu actually prefers to stay home and lock himself in his room and paint some stuffs. But his dad hesitated and brought him to a fishing pond. He came along, in the end.

And one thing. He slapped his dad with a fish he got when fishing in a pond. He said, "I can't do anything about the separation, but I can slap your face with this fish." And his dad replied in poker face, "Son, I don't want to get slapped with a fish anymore. You should to go a boarding school. Tachikawa High is the best choice."

Additional Info
He ever attempt on suicide 3 times. 1st, when he mistaken wine for poison. 2nd, he tried to hang himself but failed because the rope snapped out (He used a fragile, thin rope.). 3rd, he tried to drown himself in his bathtub then he fell asleep and really drowned. Gladly, his dad figured this out and saved him.
His favourite animal is a wolf.
He ever failed in one exam in middle school. He refused to eat for 3 days and locked himself in his room.
He really likes to sleep. He's able to sleep anywhere.
