I knew this wouldn't scan well, but I still like it. This was my favorite part of the movie.colored pencils on black construction paper

This is stunning work, here! The darkness of the picture captures the mood completely; as this was before Simba was completely illuminated -- both physically, as well as spiritually!!
Love the artistic style -- completely unlike Disney's own signature art!! Thank you for doing this work, in your own style. It helps to make this stand out, on its own!!

yeah, i wasn't really going for the aged look, but I think it turned out ok! I had fun focusing on the hilights, so I might do some more of these!
