Description
The third of my Star Wars OCs, this is Chip the Cathar. The Cathar were a catlike alien species from the Dark Horse comic series Tales of the Jedi and I liked them so much I made an OC. I was going to make my Cathar a Jedi but that had been done so I went with a less Force-sensitive character and created a con artist. But don't worry, he only steals from the rich and the dishonest. He keeps a small amount only to live on while donating the rest to the poor and the weak. Chip here also has his own sabacc deck, a card game featured in the Star Wars galaxy that Lando and Han played. I took some inspiration from ThunderCats for the design and I remember seeing a Muppet cat from Sesame Street who was also named Chip and voiced and performed by Kevin Clash, who also did Elmo and Baby Sinclair.
