My awesome sent me this drawing he did of his character, and I couldn't resist, I had to do something with it because it looked so damn cool.So I colored it and gave it a little of a comic-book vintage look, added a bunch of REAL quotes, and this is the result!
Hope you like it, if it looks cool at all it's all Cosmic's doing, his art rocks

Anyway, it looks great! That BBQ quote is a funny touch - honestly, I'm not internet-geeky enough to understand it, but it's a funny addition nonetheless.
Where did you get that background texture by the way? Is that a combination of Photoshop brushes? - Looks great!

oh yeah, THE frank miller. What can I say, he loves the Cosmic. Number one fan he says, although I fight him on that one
The background texture is a combination of old paper textures, and then I used a bunch of photoshop brushes for the worn out look. Unfortunatelly I have a thousand of them and I never know their names - even when I want to use the same brush on two different works, I have to look for it through trial and error, because I never can recall the names of the brushes I use :\ I'm really glad you think it looks cool! It's all experimenting here and there

Haha yeah I do that too. Especially with fonts. It takes forever for some softwares to load because I have about 5500 fonts on my pc.
