Description Everything in the world has a god or goddess associated with it, to help it grow and to look after it like an overzealous senator watching over his or her constituents. Humans worship more obvious sorts of gods, like war and sex. But what about a goddess of decomposition? who will govern over the production of spores and the protection of the giant shelf fungus deep in the steamy rainforests? Who will encourage the wee plasmodial slime moulds to make their steady way in the world, occasionally engulfing other fungi and bacteria along the way?
The Goddess of Spores, Mold and Fungus rarely manifests herself. Or perhaps its just that when she does, she blends in nicely with the her many offspring. Her dress is less like clothing and more like a general mat of fungal matter, lichen, slime and water moulds. Mushrooms and toadstools have long since taken up residence in it, trailing their long roots and tendrils for miles behind her, the longest train in the world. The shelf fungus prefer to hang out along her spine, no one knows why, perhaps they feel safer higher up. She is perhaps an inconsequential goddess in most respects, but can become quite fierce in ecological debates.

you ever have those days when you've been working forever on one thing, and its just not coming? and then suddenly you get a weird and fantastic idea for something completely unrelated and your muse boots you in the face and says DRAW THIS NOW, BITCH! and you cover your head and rush to your wacom tablet and say "okay okay! stop! i'm doing it! i'm doing it" and then you get something really weird, like a goddess of spores, mold and fungus? yeah. well that's what happened here.
