Rafe has some of his goons rough up Alak (who bleeds pink blood! Castithans bleed pink blood!). He warns his son-in-law to never pull a stupid stunt like that for his father again, or he'll be wishing anyone but Rafe McCawley was his in-law.

Sure, Alak kind of got conned by his father. Still, his "prank" had MAJOR implications for the future of Defiance...and his new father-in-law just wanted to make sure the young Castithan remembered who swings the bigger stick in the town. Alak got his comeuppance, and Rafe got his Godfather moment - not bad for a day's work.

The pink Castithan blood that Alak spits out after his beating was actually strawberry yogurt.
