Here is a picture that I did as a Christmas-themed request/gift for fellow artist DayDreamBeliever67 : A picture of his original character, a female cat named Joan, enjoying some hot cocoa while sitting by the fire in a fireplace. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to work on some holiday-themed pictures as requests that I'm able to draw in time for Christmas this year, and I was willing enough to draw a picture featuring such a character that I haven't been able to draw in my original cartoon style before, especially since I also know very little about her myself, so I decided to depict her in my original character style when drawing her for the very first time. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Joan relaxing by sitting next to the fireplace while having a mug of hot cocoa to drink, and she can be seen wearing an outfit that consists of a light blue sweater with a circular design based on the t-shirt that she normally wears as well as a lavender dress skirt. when I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a red brick texture for the fireplace in the background as well as a green carpeted texture for the flooring. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
