Here is a picture that I did of Mondo Gecko, the mutant gecko skateboarder from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to draw a picture that I would be able to post as part of a weekly theme known as #TurtleTuesday (or #TMNTTuesday , which also works), and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture featuring Mondo Gecko after having the character on my mind recently. Mondo Gecko is a mutated gecko with the personality of a skateboarder who originated as an action figure that was released as part of the original TMNT line of action figures by Playmates during the 1980s/1990s before making his animated appearance in the 1987 cartoon series, and he was even able to appear in other forms of media over the years such as the 2012 TMNT cartoon series as well as his most recent appearance in the animated movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem", in which he was voiced by Paul Rudd (AKA Ant-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Needless to say, Mondo Gecko happens to be one of my favorite mutant characters due to his fun-loving personality and the fact that he's even best friends with my favorite Ninja Turtle, Michelangelo, which definitely adds to the appeal of the character. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Mondo Gecko based on his original appearance in the 1987 TMNT cartoon series, and he can be seen holding onto his rocket-powered skateboard that he's able to ride around on, which he's even able to use as a weapon against bad guys such as Shredder and the Foot Clan. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a teal-colored texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
