Description
Here is a picture that I did as a contest entry for my good friend : A picture of Miles "Tails" Prower, Amy Rose, and Cream The Rabbit posing in all three of the Power-Up Suits from the NES game "Super Mario Bros. 3". Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to work on a picture as part of a trio of contests that my friend is able to hold, one of which involves artists drawing pictures of any three official Sonic characters (excluding Sonic) posing with any of the power-ups from the Super Mario games while also retaining the form of the power-up, and I decided to choose Tails, Amy, and Cream as the characters to be featured in my picture for the contest while figuring out which power-ups for each character to be suitably seen with as well. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Tails, Amy, and Cream posing in all three of the Power-Up Suits that were first seen in "Super Mario Bros. 3":

Tails in the Frog Suit, which allows him to swim underwater easily and jump higher in the air.
Amy in the Tanuki Suit, which allows her to fly in the air and turn into a statue to avoid enemies.
Cream in the Hammer Suit, which allows her to toss hammers at her enemies from a safe distance.

Even though I was supposed to include the power-up to be held by each character according to the rules of the contest, the suits that the characters are able to wear are pretty much their own power-up considering the fact that they were not usually obtained the same way as a normal power-up in the game, so I decided to just draw the characters having already put on their suits after obtaining them. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a light blue texture for the sky in the background as well as a black and white checkered pattern for the ground. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and I just know that my friend will love it no matter what.
