Description
Here is a picture that I did of my original characters, Whitnee Squirrel and her sister Jade Squirrel, depicted in their Inkling forms from the "Splatoon" video game series while hugging each other. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was feeling inspired to draw a picture based around the most recent Splatfest that had taken place in "Splatoon 3" for the Nintendo Switch almost a couple of weeks ago, in which the theme involves players choosing their favorite method of greeting (Handshake, Fistbump, or Hug), and I decided to go with Team Hug due to me being the kind of person who absolutely loves to be hugged all the time. Unfortunately, the team that I chose to be on didn't win the Splatfest at the end, but I still decided to draw a picture as a way of supporting those who were on the same team as myself, and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a newer picture featuring Whitnee and Jade as a couple of Inklings after finally being able to play the "Splatoon" games despite having missed the first two titles in the series. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Whitnee and Jade hugging each other while in the outfits that they normally wear as Inklings, to which Whitnee's outfit consists of a red t-shirt with an image of a squid on the front with navy blue shorts and a pair of red and white sneakers, and Jade's outfit consists of a purple version of the school uniform found in the game complete with knee-high socks and leather shoes. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a yellow-orange texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding white stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
