Description As you can see it's Kakashi from Naruto. I'm very dissappointed in my shading in this. I can only say that I don't really know HOW to shade. I'm hoping that my older sister who has actually taken an art class, will show me how.

Hopefully, I'll do better next time.

EDIT: Just added color to the eye. Nothing much really. *shrug*

Thanks. I actually drew this a while back, I only added the color in the eye. But I still haven't practiced the shading techniques from that tutorial you showed me. I decided to wait for my summer vacation so that I don't feel any pressure from school or anything. I want to feel like I have TIME to practice and learn at my own pace.

Haha, yeah I was persuaded to submit the colored sharingan version. I kind of wish though that I had drawn the sharingan better, instead of the way it looked in the screenshot. It could have been so much cooler if I had. But, I think it's alright for now.

Yeh, im thinking of maybe doing it to mine aswell, maybe a fine black marker over the pupils in the sharingan to make it stand-out, might wanna give it a try

So you think I should darken the pupil? That sounds like a pretty good idea. I hate my colored pencils, especially the black. It is now reduced to an inch long because it kept breaking and wouldn't sharpen right. So I blame the stupid pencil for the way it looks now.

Anyway, I wanna see how you do. The sharingan you drew on Itachi was perfect! Is that the one you want to work on? Or are you drawing a new picture?

I can't work on the sharingan yet since all I have is this sh**ty HB=2 pencil, so thats gonna have 2 wait... All i can do now is try and improve my Ed Elric one

Yeah, I drew mine from an episode screenshot too. I'd be lying if I said I'm good enough to draw purely from imagination.

Yeah, I'm not like that either. I can't draw well from my imagination. I just can't see every detail clearly in my mind. If I try to draw something different than a picture I usually find another picture to use as a reference for poses and such.

Okay, I posted it. Not as a new deviation, but an update of the old one. It's nothing much just a little color to it. So,...yeah.

And yeah, I do same thing too when it comes to drawing. If I do want to change something in a drawing I have to search for other refrences to base my changes from.

You really do that too? Thank goodness there's someone else who does. I was starting to think I was messed up in some way, whether it's my imagination creativity or whatever, that I can't draw a character accurately without references.

From what I understand, it takes alot of time to develop such a vivid imagination to draw something completely from ones mind.

I can't point out any faults in your drawing. It's perfect. This is going in my favourites.
