General Roth'h'ar Sarris of Fatu-Krey, destroyer of Thermians.
A character from the movie "Galaxy Quest" from 1999. SO FRIKKING GOOD MOVIE!
I mean, it has action, humour, aliens, villains and heroes, starships and explosions. And not to forget, the awesome Stan Winston Studios designed and made the costumes and props in the movie, so what's not to like?!
I was actually surprised when I searched for Galaxy Quest (on here and other forums) and got close to zero results. This movie and characters needs more love, totally underrated movie.

looks awesome-i remember once watching it...long time ago. I remember that effects o nthis guy were amazing-first thing that came to my mind was...it has a predator feeling to it, then I read that Stan was inwolved.

Well, he is a sort of predator. Or maybe more like a warrior or fighter, not afraid of anything and prepared to do anything to get what he wants.
The costume on this guy is very nicely done. He has all these armour that looks like they come from crocodiles, dinosaurs or some other hard skinned creature. All of his warriors have some of that armour too. Makes you think he likes to hunt down trophies of his own, right?

Jahaja, sist jag sa att jag skulle se Galaxy Quest så gjorde du en dum grimas som om det var en urusel film som du inte ens skulle peta på. Jag antar att du bara glömt bort vad Galaxy Quest var, och med denna bild kom på vad det FAKTISKT var... kanske blandat ihop det med någon annan film?
Jag är inte sur, jag bara påpekar hur ambivalent du kan vara. Äh inte vet jag, döm inte på förhand?

Haha, yes he is an arsehole! A real brute with no remorse killing and destroying what is in his way only to get what he wants.

Galaxy Quest was a fannish feast. I love the way it made such fun of the whole phenomenon of actors and fans. That, and the creature designs were absolutely awesome. Sarris was always one of my favorites, and you've done 'im justice.

It was really hard to get any reference pictures from the movie and I ended up to printscreen it myself. Only found a few high res pictures to use, but not even they showed what I wanted and needed. But, stubborn as I am, I managed to get what I needed. For the parts that is not "Accurate" or what to say, I mostly winged it for what it looked like to be. This part is mostly his lower chest area and neck. But I am very happy for the end result.
Exactly, I also liked how they made fun of the whole concept of fans and costumes etc, but did it in a way that didnt mock them. It was taken light heartedly and didnt push any of the parts down, fans nor actors. Fans are needed to keep something like a series or movie alive. Mocking actors, fans or a fanbase would not contribute anything.
I loved the creature design in this one, both for the Thermians and Sarris warriors. And seeing Alan Rickman in his headpiece.
