New Account: ~ruuariAqua from Kingdom Hearts~ I just felt like drawing this one day. I really wanted to draw her in her armour, and it was really fun to do!
I'm actually not too sure what to say hehe. It's pretty simple, but I like it a lot. I tried to make her armour look a bit ruined and broken. The background was really fun to do too. (= Aqua is definitely one of my favourite characters! = D

Yeah, the original worlds in KH always looks so awesome! (My favorite worlds are traverse town and the KH1 version of Hollow Bation.) You did great on the picture! It looks almost traditionally drawn at first glance, like it was colored with art marker.

Oh man I know right. Traverse Town was so cool. You could run across the roofs of buildings and run through the long hallway of the hotel and there were so many places you could go and they were all somehow connected. There were alleyways and shops and aw mannn. And then Hollow Bastion was so awesome in the first game too. The KH1 version will always be my favourite. The music was so serious and so many things were going down. The game just got really tense and cool at that moment. The original Kingdom Hearts is actually my favourite game out of them all, even as much as I love Birth by Sleep, KH1 is just so nostalgic and at the same time so well done <33

Oh, I TOTALLY know what you mean! KH1 will always be the best Kingdom Hearts PERIOD! It is the most challenging and fun because of the platforming element that was tied into the game. Every one seems to LOVE KH2 for some reason, but, honestly I think it was one of the worst gameplay and story-wise. I loved going to Hollow Bastion on the game just because of the eerie, yet beautiful atmosphere it had, even though it would usually end up in me getting lost on the lift stop. Still, it was cool on the rare occasion that I could climb to the top and see the amazing stained glass ceiling there. For some random reason, the End of World place always kind fof creeped me out on that game in an awesome way. There was all of this random stuff that you didn't know quite what it was there for, which led my overactive imagination to fill stuff in for me. I loved the worlds on the first game, they were fun to just run around in and explore! Umm, yes, sorry for the long KH rant right there. As you can see, KH1 has some serous nostalgic value to me as well! I wish more of the new fans would play it!

I agree with you so much. The second one doesn't even come close to the first; at least for me. :'3 (and yeah a lot of it is the nostalgia but you know haha XD) The first game was just so well put together, and the story was amazing. I loved all of the characters too. I noticed even the colours are cooler looking, a lot more darker tones than the second game.
The End of the World was so cool too. :'D I liked the concept, the end of the world being a world XDD I love how the music throughout the game builds up and gets more intense and serious. You start out at Traverse Town and Destiny Islands, and Alice and Wonderland and everything seems to be really cheerful and laid back, and then once you get to the Halloween Town and Neverland worlds part you can tell it is a turning point for all the... intenseness. And then Hollow Bastion is just amazing and I love that place :'D I got lost in the lift stop too haha X'DD
There was so much to do in the KH1. And I love how Sora is actually a bit stressed and gets upset and I guess scared at times, because he has to basically save the world and find his friends because he has no idea where they are. And then most of the time he is just cheerful and dawww so cute.
I wish more people would play it too. I find a lot of people get sucked in by the newer ones because of the graphics and stuff, but the first one is just amazing so amazing not to play! ='D

Yes!!! I always rant about the glory of KH1 in comparison to the others and no one else understands! Oh frabjous day, someone agrees with me! Yes, you completely hit it on the dot with your assessment, that's exactly what I think about KH1! I loved the darker color scheme and mood also! Yeah, it really did go from cheery to pure intense doomness on the first game! I also loved how the levels were designed. While they are pretty flat and linear on the other titles, the ones on the first one had platforms and obstacles to jump around on and overcome. It wasn't just "battle this here and then go there and battle that," you actually had to EXPLORE to make progress! Oh, and I totally loved Sora in that game too! I was glad when I played the gameboy Chain of Memories that he was pretty much the same adorable/awesomeness, but when KH2 came out, I was mortified! Why Square Enix took one of their best characters and turned him into such a dork completely unlike his original character I will never understand!

I knowww~ There was so much to do, other than just fighting and such. I mean, I do love the fighting aspect of Kingdom Hearts, but all the other little things you had to do were so much fun too. As simple as using different elements to open doors and activate things, finding the dalmations, trinities, and items from the mushroom heartless. Oh man I love the mushroom heartless, especially when you play charades and it is just so aww~ They were so cute. I loved exploring each world. Halloween Town was so fun, Atlantica was awesome, even Monstro. I actually liked going through all of the different chambers :'D
Gahhh Sora's character just went weird in Kingdom Hearts 2. ): He turned into a complete idiot who was like "saving the world? pshhh." and seemed like he never had a care in the world. Aghhh I loved him in the first game. He was so cute and cared about everyone, and actually had flaws. :'3 The second game is also way too easy. And with all the extra time limit battles I just was driven crazy (and with the quick time events with the triangle button). As much as I love watching cut scenes too, they were all just so long and there were so many of them. In the first game there were cut scenes but not an insane amount of them and they aren't all extremely long, and it was always so exciting when a cut scene played :'D Maybe I am just complaining too much haha. I never get bored when I play it. It's always just so amazing. :')

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! I LOVED all of those things too! (Though exploring Monstro's guts made me a little queasy.) I miss the Atlantica and Haloween of the original game! They were so much fun to explore! The part where you got to go to Oogie Boogie's mansion in the game was AWESOME! And then, came the KHII, in which they were replaced by a gimmicky musical minigames and cruddy cutscenes. And Sora was.... AUUUGHHHHHHH!!!! He was so oblivious! There were all of these amazing plot threads with Roxas and the Organization that were so emotionally captivating, and they turned the only chracter who could have made it even more interesting into some unfeeeling ditzy kid.

YEESSSSS~! Haha, Monstro's insides were so funny looking. I was so surprised to randomly find Riku in the middle of a whale. I loved Halloween Town in the original game. There was SO much to explore. Oogie's mansion was just sooo sweet. Climbing that thing was challenging when you wanted to kill ever heartless. Those gargoyles always made me fall. XDD And Atlantica was just plain awesome. You could go as high up as you wanted or low as you wanted in each area, and it had that cheerful yet dangerous feeling. And then you got to go to Neverland, where the story just gets even more epic than it already is anda sfasuifasf I just love it so much.
The minigames in KHII oh gosh. x___x Atlantica got completely destroyed. It was hardly a world at all. I didn't like many of the cutscenes, and the gameplay wasn't as fun. And Sora was just driving me crazy with his obliviousness. Either we should have played as only Sora, or only Roxas somehow. I loved the beginning, which is what drives me crazy because we became attached to this new character, Roxas, and then once we get used to playing him, he's taken away from us, and all you basically are hoping for the rest of the game is to see Roxas again. And Riku and Kairi were ruined too orz. Their personalities did a 180 somehow. I mean, in the original game, Riku was that "cool" character, but he wasn't quiet, in fact he was very confident and a bit outspoken, and somehow in the second game he just becomes this quiet, almost shy character. Not that there is anything wrong with quiet, shy characters but it just didn't seem like Riku to me. :/ Kairi in the original was almost this tomboyish girl, who was up for any sort of adventure, and then in the second game she did absolutely nothing, and just waited to be rescued. ;__; I thought it would have been really cool at the end of KHII instead of fighting with just Riku and Sora, Kairi should have been included. I mean, parties are for three after all X'D

It's awesome that someone has the same exact KH1 nostalgia as me! The first game was so lovely, it was what inspired me to become an artist initially. Yeah, I hated what they did with Riku and Kairi in KH2. Riku was awesome in the first game, he had so much more emotional depth! He seemed so genuinely sad and lonely, between Sora finding new friends and losing Kairi. It was even sadder how his emotions were used by the bad people to do their bidding. I hated how he just became the stereotypical "square enix bad boy" in KH2 and Chain of Memories. Yeah, Kairi was rather tomboyish in KH1, that is what made it so surprising that she was actually a princess of heart! I loved her character and character design in KH1, she was so awesome. I kind of wonder if Namine messed up Sora, Riku, and Kairi's brains when she was forced to rewrite Sora's memory, and then further accidental brain damage occured when she tried to put things back.
