Quick headcanons
-She may seem bubbly on the outside, but she is actually dealing with heavy depression. She has tried to commit suicide multiple times throughout her life, and she had to go through five different therapists until she found one she could talk to comfortably
-The closest thing she has to a sibling is Henry, and they treat each other like brother and sister. Kathryn would call Henry "bro" a lot, and she never stopped calling him that since high school
-She never actually told anyone about wanting to be bigender, making her depression much worse than before. She knew that she would never tell William because he obviously wouldn't respect her for that. It was one of her many regrets in life.
-She is, and always will be, flat-chested. She loves being that way though since it gives her less dysphoria when she wants to feel more masculine. She did get bullied for it a bit, but it wasn't the worst she'd been through.
-A week or so after Elizabeth died, a group of women she knew from high school convinced her to commit suicide, even giving her a noose before they left her. She hung herself in Elizabeth's room as a way to "be with her in the afterlife," but as she was suffocating she tried calling out the names of her loved ones, begging them for help. They didn't come in time to help her, leaving her to hang alone in her own daughter's room with only the supportive and cheery voices of Henry and her therapist clouding her mind...
