Description We went to get four dogs from Mush! Kennels and then rushed away to be in time for the sledding event held by the FCI for their siberina husky speciallity show. Halvfway between our destination and picking the dogs up we realized we had forgot all the harnesses for the Mush-dogs. After some frantic searching of our packing we were lucky enough to find a bag that was supposed to be thrown away by now, a bag with all our old and blue equippment. Haan had said he threw it away but had just hid it in the car because he hated throwing away stuff that still was functional. Which was a blessing now or we would have missed the start.
So once again we were on our way. All the dogs were baying and howling of excitement in the back of the van and we soon joined in, humans and dogs having an outright howling competition on the road to the show.

Haan was the designated musher. His childlike demeanor and constant enthusiasm made him connect with animals in a way seldom seen otherwize. The co-joined team he was driving was a young and somewhat inexperienced team, but had some very experienced dogs in key positions. Young or old they worked very well together.
The dogs were hooked up in this order:
Leaddogs - Google and Sapphire
Swingdogs - Duchess and Sammy
Teamdogs - Swag and BomBom
Wheeldogs - Thunder and Matthew

Artist commentary: The sizes of the dogs are off and the perspective is slightly askew. Duchess for an instance is a small dog and Thunder is really big. I'm not extremely happy about those size flaws. Apart from that it was fun drawing and I think the end result is okay. And once again the Fae is present. I'm having so much fun with the Fae stalking me and my dogs that part of me doesn't want it to be officially found and intergrated with the rest of the pack. x)

Ooh, I like this. I like the amount of detail and how each dog is a different color. What medium are you using?

Thank you.
Sketching is done in pencil, line art is done with staedler art liner pen 0.05 or Uni pin fine line pen 0.1. After that I use watercolour pencils, in this case Faber-Castell Β»Albrecht DΓΌrerΒ« pencils. I combine both using a paintbrush to wet the colours after I've drawn and keeping the pencil colouring in it's original state. As for each dog having a different colour, they are all different characters in the ongoing dog art role playing game here on dA.
