I love the details in this, I can never get such good detail trying to photograph my betta

Try using a flat clear container and using sunlight in a window, it brings out the color much better and also allows our cameras to use a faster shutter speed, so less blurr. It also helps if you focus on your hand first, then while keeping the button halfway down so it stays at that focus point you can follow your betta instead of getting annoyed that the camera is trying to focus on the plant behind the betta lol
Also, manual focus is always better, but are harder to come by unless you own a DSLR.

lol, plakats are more heavy bodied then the long finned bettas XD

I know XD the two full blue masks I had weren't as heavy, but I've always liked the really strong bodies some of them had.
