very interesting work...how did you get that old look..what did you used and did you used it in some special order???..... if i may ask...

It was a light colored wood that was painted and sanded a few times then stained with several washes of different colors and thicknesses of paint. It's one of those techniques that you just kind of have to experiment with and get a feel for and can make some pretty unexpected results from time to time. Hope that helps.
