wow. that's quite a nice compliment. either that, or I am very inept at handling light, and it shows!

lights here are absolutly perfect.. maybe the composition could be improved but only from artistic point of view from naturalistic is just perfect like it is

I just have to visit there!

CorazondeDios In reply to AmberSunset [2007-11-05 07:23:12 +0000 UTC]

you should definitely go to Bryce, and to Zion and to the Canyonlands -- all of which are in Southern Utah. It is not really well known how absolutely beautiful Utah is -- people flock to the Grand Canyon or to Colorado -- but really, Utah has it all. Bryce is so much fun to hike through, and not as perilous as the Grand Canyon, where you can easily die on a hike through dehydration -- the distances are so unforgiving and vast.

We hiked all afternoon in and around the hoodoos of Bryce and had an amazing time. I have many more photographs yet unposted. Go there and bring a couple of 1 gig cards for your digital -- you will need them!

I visited in Utah in summer of 2005.
My trip included Zion, Arches, Grand Canyon and many other places in that area, but unfortunately we couldn't get to Bryce...
I've heard many wonderful things about this NP and saw many amazing pictures, so I really want to get there some day
Thanks for sharing information!!

thank you so very much, but actually, God did most of the work. He spent about a million years sculpting the hoodoos you see there. I just snapped a pic of it!

ok.....

well, actually, I didn't make them. God carved them for about a zillion years, and then I came along and took a picture of them. He gets the credit.
