For those who've watched my gallery long enough, you'll know she's vaguely based on a previous character of mine, but has since grown. I've included her backstory below:

Maze, whose real name is Camila Carvalho, is a complex character in the Phenomenal Universe. She hails from the fictional Latin American country of Verdeluzia, located off the southern coast of Brazil. Camila possesses unique abilities that set her apart as a "psychic vampire," allowing her to feed on the psionic energy of others to empower herself.
Initially, Camila joined the superhero team known as the Protectors of the Peace, fighting alongside her comrades to maintain order and justice in Harborview. However, her story takes a darker turn when she eventually returns to her home country of Verdeluzia and seizes control, becoming its sovereign ruler. Her leadership is marked by ruthlessness and an unquenchable thirst for power.
Camila's transformation from a hero to a despotic leader is driven by her desire to escape the oppressive and corrupt government she fled as a refugee. Over time, she grows to believe that ruling Verdeluzia with an iron fist is the only way to bring stability to her homeland. This shift in character and allegiance leads to conflict with her former teammates in the Protectors of the Peace and sets the stage for intense confrontations within the Phenomenal Universe.
