The featured work of Cryptid-Creations 's Creative Crate. On creating this work, Cryptid-Creations had the following to share:

"I had created a Floral Tiger a few weeks ago and wanted to explore what it would look like fully illustrated. Since I do daily work, I have to be very cautious about how much time I'm spending -- I typically will focus on a character design (character + solid background). This is fine in it's own right, as illustrating in this manner allows me to focus on the character design instead of the surrounding elements.

However, the shortcoming is that such drawings lack the storytelling that you can better convey through a surrounding environment. In this piece, I'm able to display the Floral Tiger in a more interactive way.

As for the idea of the Floral Tiger itself, floral animals can be very fun to draw and I liked imagining how I could add floral elements a tiger's stripes. Perhaps it serves as camouflage in the jungle."
