First pic for draw whatever the hell you want week on the November Challenge. Been enjoying Steven Universe on Cartoon Network. I've been trying to shade with the lasso tool in Manga Studio 5. It has its advantages and disadvantages over my normal methods. I'll keep practicing with it, because once I've learned about when to and not use it, I know it'll be a big time saver. Duplicated the shades and flats, put the layer on multiply with a copy of it underneath and then used a soft eraser tool for somewhat subtle lighting effects. Also blasted out a 7 minute background that turned out better than I hoped it would.
