So pretty and dark! Rainy days are the best!
Do people ever ask you what you're doing? Has there ever been a time where you weren't allowed to take a photo of something?

Well there never really was a time when i wasn't allowed to take a photo of something that i wanted to take one of. But there was a funny incident some days before this picture here.

Most of my recent pictures were taken during my vacation in Brittany. One day i was walking along a sandy beach separated from the land by a dune, and wanting to take a picture of the whole stretch of the beach i climbed it and took my photos. I then returned to the path behind the dune because i didn't want to get sand into my shoes. While i was walking on this path then a burly, tanned french guy came running from behind and started talking to me in very fast french. I generally understand french but not when it is talked to fast. I understood the words camera and that i should come with him and so i assumed he wanted to have his picture taken for whatever reason... So i followed him to the beach andΒ he was talking to me in utterly broken english and fast french about french image rights and his wife. At some point he wanted to see my camera and only then it dawned on me that he thought i had taken an image of him and his wife at the beach and wanted me to delete it. After that i just gave him my camera and let him see that there where no pictures of him and said goodbye.Β

The whole situation just felt kinda bizarre the whole time and since i had not seen the guy when i climbed the dune it didn't occur to me that i could have photographed someone how'd object to it... But it was quite funny after everything was cleared up...

Oh man! Language barriers are the WORST! I'm so confused what he wanted in the first place!
