Excellent! I really like your use of highlights and how the purple cross regions fill in nicely for the relative sparseness of fractal structure. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the upper left corner--that structure is too well-defined to be background texture, yet not quite strong enough (or of the same shape) to be part of the main composition. But, perhaps that's your intent? Regardless, well done!

Hi Kerry, I think you are right, and the same thing is true just below center right as well. It's just another bit of thin orbit traps that I have used to try and fill the otherwise very dark corner with more, lighter texture. I'll see if I can find something the blends in better.
