This is a PERSONAL species, meaning I will NOT be making adopts or auctions of these guys. I will not be selling them or trading them for any reason. The only people that I will allow to own one are my closest, most responsible friends and myself.

The Frigid are a subspecies of dragons that are born with an innate affinity to magic.
This species possesses a long overall structure. Long necks, bodies, and tails make up their basic anatomy.
A healthy Frigid is a warm Frigid. Due to living in cold, high altitude environments--such as mountains and arctics--they need fur to survive. Though their fur does not cover their entire body, it is plush and thick.
If a Frigid does not have fur or their fur is scraggly, thin, and knotted, they are likely unhealthy.
The Frigid are vain creatures and often tattoo or pierce their skin simply for aesthetic purposes.
A Frigid’s mask is part of their skeletal system and to remove it would be like removing a human’s skull. Behind their masks is pure, untapped magic energy. They do not have faces.
The Frigid’s claws are not retractable, but it is not uncommon to have one born without claws.
The Frigid posses only naturally occurring skin and fur colors. Thought the fur color is almost always lightly colored, pale browns and greys are just as common as white.---------------------

So what do you guys think of them? I've been working on this species for a while but I've been hesitant with posting them because everyone and their brother has a closed species and I don't want to flood you guys with mine.

I'm learning quite a bit in my english class though, which is helping a bit.
Like I didn't know a gap-toothed woman used to be considered seductive.
Man, there's this one person who makes really cool ice dragon adopts but you have to join their group and they copyright ice dragons to themselves.
Like, man, I hope you don't get disappointed reading DnD guidebooks, because uh- they kinda ripped off your idea. As well as the people who wrote the bible. And the aztechs. And *lists basically every culture*

But I get really excited when I think about these guys because they're my babies and I love drawing them and I just love their noodle bodies and how flexible they are and they're so fun to draw and they're fun to talk about and I love making lore for them
I'm just afraid people won't be as excited about them as I am? xD If its even possible to be as excited as me right now,
But I'm also scared to sell them. They're close to me, they're really really close to me and I hate seeing some of my species and characters collecting dust on other people's shelves.

Yea, of course. I get excited about my friend's species, too and I often help develop them. Sometimes even more than I develop my own species.
Just ask Solarfox123 and Windicious . I get so damned excited over their species that there was a point in time I actually forgot that I had my own races and species I needed to worry about and develop.
I mean, you are just going to have to expect people not getting excited as you are about certain things. Different tastes and all of that jazz, but does it really matter? Just find the people who'll talk about them with you and let you ramble on about them, letting you be excited about them. Shoot, go ahead and send me a mile long message on skype right now about them, I'll read it. I mean, it may take me a bit since I'm trying to draw right now, but I'll read it and ask questions.

Doesn't help that my Latin I teacher was like super cute, so I was paying more attention to his face than the words he spewed out of his mouth.
Until some kid made a comment and I passively let them know I think them stupid. And one kid told me to shut up and the teacher just went, "Well I like Katie's contribution to this class".
So he knew I was calling them stupid and liked it. :'D
