Every time I draw shippy art it turns into these two. (laughs)

I was reading the Homestuck Wiki for all nostalgic purposes and came to the part where the Homestuck Beta was discussed. When I read that the only colors used where green and red, I had a thought; what if they were meant to be together since before the beginning? and decided to use a limited color palette.
More headcanons came to me as I began drawing. Logically, Dave and Jade don't belong together. Their personalities are opposite, their abilities are opposite (the combination of time and space is like, a black hole), their theme colors mix to make poop, etc. But opposite personalities compliment each other. Nothing exists without time and space working together. And green and red together make people think of red roses and sweet candies and pleasant Christmases. So I may never stop liking DaveJade, all because I love how they're the perfect unlikely pair.
