Cougar was born within the island with his Mother, Father and two other siblings... Cougar's memory of his family has been lost ... (But for others wanting to know)
Cougar was born in a small litter of three kits, counting him. He wasn't always named Cougar and actually was named Lark. When he was just born. His mother and father lived by themselves with the kits... And for many moons they were alone. Cougars father was a old 'tribe' cat. Part of a small family tribe by the shores.... He left the tribe to be with his soon to be mate. Jooun, who was a lone cat. Since most of Cougars memory was washed from him the most he remembers of his mother and father was their death. The smell of blood and the bloody bodies by him as a kit.

Cougar (Lark) was taken from his parents as well as his siblings as their parents lives were taken. Cougar was a young kit and he was taken by other cats... A small loner group. Cougar was soon placed with a different mother who had already had his siblings, and Seven other kits. Ten kits to care for was alot for the queen, and resulted in some kits dying of her own. The queen was not happy and soon the mother like figure turned into a monster. Beating the kits she would treat most of them poorly. Especially Cougar and his siblings. The beatings were never nice and the mother barely hit her own... The beatings and abuse was so bad that Cougars real blood siblings died from head trauma and other inside injuries. Did the queen care? No. She had her revenge.

Cougars memory of his parents was completely gone. As He believed this was his home, this was his mother. And all these kits were his siblings.

Young Teen:

Cougar and the other 'siblings' of his were moved away from his mother and passed onto training... He thought of it being perfect from now on. But no. The training was very serious in this clan and since there was only three other males in the clan they had to teach them all. Alot of sparring, beatings and anything that wasn't sweet and loving was all this young tom felt. He watched as his siblings fought each other and made each other stronger... It was when Cougar couldn't harm them was when his mentor started to mentally and physically ruining him. He would twist his mind and thoughts and his feelings into turning him mad, make him angry, taunt him.... He soon couldn't handle it all and snapped. He tore into his siblings flesh, un able to control himself and almost killed his sibling Maggot.

Training just got harsher and harsher... It wasnt going to go away. It was either do as they said or get beat. And as they got older... And disobeyed the abuse would be ten times worse. If it was with claws or beating you... Or even tempting to drown you. This was a survival game... From the start.... Win the game... You get freedom.

Wanderer:

Cougar was a young tom cat now. Training was finished... Thankful of it. He stayed with his clan he was raised in for a while till the whole clan was falling apart. Two of the elder males... One the Cougars and others 'Father rolemodel' Were brothers... Cougars 'Father' Lead the clan... Kept everything in place... Till the brothers broke into a fight. The other wanted the power, wanted the rules changed.... Wanted to be the second commander. Yet he didnt think his brother could take it on, and didnt like his ideas. In the result of the fighting it turned into a blood bath. It came to an end when Cougars 'Father' was viciously mauled to death. Leaving their ' Uncle' in Leadership.

The idea of three other males in the clan... (Cougar, Lizard, Maggot) Was a no. Since they were the kits of the old leader the young males were kicked out. Cougars sisters stayed behind as they were forced to. The 'brothers' stayed together after that. They only could harass the other clans for food and land which resulted in alot of fights and killing... Soon the brothers all grew apart. Some found mates, Some joined clans... But Cougar stayed alone. Within the island he was alone wandering. Continuing his life alone of stealing and getting others out of his face. After what he went through he never sees himself going into another clan ever again.
