I see two wine glasses and bottle, and of course beautiful blue jay. Maybe I should stay with her, can't drive my scooter when drunk though. I don't want any birds into an accident.

I've stared at this picture longer than I'm comfortable admitting, and I just have to know: the way her left leg is balanced, she's definitely moving or at least shifting her weight, but I can't tell in which direction. Her eyes are definitely trained on (someone?) out of frame, but the beak seems like an unreliable smile-vector for an anthro bird and her eyes are definitely probably maybe(?) receptive and anticipatory. Extremely ambiguous in a way I'm not quite able to express. This all feels narratively important. What is up with that smile. This one picture has been haunting me for going on eight months now.
