"I will never post ponies, ever." - Me, 2012Hahahahahahaha.... FlashLight. I make no apologies. I usually dislike fandom shipping, especially the shipping of ponies (and that ridiculous movie) but that ship name is brilliant. It's February with Valentines around the corner, so what the hell. Here's something completely-completely different from the usual stuff I draw.
So, if your CO is the Captain of the Royal Guard, don't date his little sister. He will probably get one of the other guards to poison your next meal. Or maybe not. Either way, watch your back.
I originally drew Shining Armor with an oblivious Cadence, some royal guards and even an assassin looking at Flash at one point, but I decided it brings home the point a little better if it's just him and his gunshot stare and a plain background.
Don't get me wrong, this was actually fun to do, but I don't think I'll do another one. Too much saccharin.
Unless enough people ask.

Yeah, Shining Armor makes a good shield generator and an even better weapon launcher, he's a good piece of equipment but he's no weapon.
Cadence is the weapon, Shining Armor simply upgraded to the weapon's carrying case.

I wouldn't call him a carrying case. Weapons don't fire themselves. In this case, since her magic is powered by love, Cadence is powerless without Shining. That makes him the soldier. OH WAIT.
