I had difficulty in producing a good quality shots because the sun was nearly behind the birds and they were dark and I had to brighten the shadows and noise appeared. However, for the web the pictures look great . The lens is pretty sharp especially in good light conditions and if you are close to the subject. A great lens for the money! The VR is superb! I have captured decent shots of birds at 1/60 or so.
