I would have never guested you smoked or were buying cigarets. I was thinking WOOW a gas station what an odd place for a costume or Halloween Party. This is an awesome costume. I wish we saw and heard more from Aayla is the Star Wars saga. She looked so cool. How long did it take to prepare to become Aayla?

Oh my goodness it was a mess. I slowly found bits and pieces through amazon and shopping around for a few months. Started by cutting out shapes that I thought I needed and tried to sew them together but it turns out I can't sew so the whole thing is hot glued together! The costume with took about a month to get together. The boots I painted over a few days and the boobs I found on amazon for about 30 bucks. They are for mastectomy patients so they are ultra real and make for a nice touch. I tried to airbrush the makeup but the alcohol based airbrush paint I got was to thick for my airbrush and I just sloshed the paint on and spread it with my hands as best I could. Took about an hour and a half total to get ready.

This entire time I thought this was a female in the costume. You really did a great job on this then because if I can't tell this is a guy dressed as a woman then this is a good job at the costume. However the angle which the picture is taken makes it difficult to see the detail in the face. Also I have not heard the voice by a picture. What made you decide to be Aayla?

Ever since I was a kid and saw return of the Jedi, I was into oola and wanted to dress up as a twi lek. This year I just decided to go for it. I thought that I could do a convincing aayla. seeing as no guy has ever done her before I was really excited and I think I did her justice. Much love to Pam who made the lekku for me.
