Alternate titles - Mantea Time / Mantea Ray

Last art for posca class! 🥳 I had a lot of fun with it! (Both the class and this piece) Really enjoyed using both Poscas and Gouache since I got a way bigger range of colors out of it.

This one had quite an evolution as I was designing it out. First we had to design an orb with something inside it, then a creature to go with it, then put them together in one piece. Originally the orb had a curling ocean wave made of green tea + flowers, so for the animal I was like....Teapot? It was originally a bird teapot, then a manta teapot (but with fins that were more like wings) to go with the wave theme + a plant tail, then the wing/fins just became waves. By the time I sketched out this final version I thought the 'wave in the orb' thing would be a little cluttered, so it just turned into one of those flowering tea ball thingies. It all worked out!
