Description O.K. I *DID* go out a couple weeks ago and take some shots--most of which met the 'delete' button--but this one I kept just cuz I had to set up my tripod in the water to get. The water was cold as this creek is completely spring fed.

Simply too much effort to delete, I thought I hope you like

I'm way behind on messages and trying to catch up in the couple hours I've allowed myself for DA.

THank you I sure wish I could have gotten back to Spearfish Canyon again this year before the dreaded windstorm we always get took the leaves. There might still be some left in protected places--I'll have to go have a look this afternoon

yeah, I went out a couple weeks ago when the color was about 50% in most areas. I figured it would be another week before peak color and I was right but then I had to work out of town that week so... This is about it for this year unless I can find some pockets of protected trees.

I had my waders on so I got cold but not wet

I went out a few weekends ago on a photo trip and I got some good pics, but I haven't edited yet so I'm not really sure how well they turned out. Sky was boring as hell - nothing but bright blue and it was a bit hazy so I don't know..

At least we tried, right??!!

I can relate tot he boring skies--we had that until tuesday and then we got the most beautiful and interesting clouds and I knew we were in for a storm

I was so mad!! the next day after we got home - beautiful streaky cirrus clouds all across the sky. I was actually cursing about it!! damn!!

Oh well, since when does Mother Nature give a crap about what we want?! LOL!!
