Grumpy and hotblooded, Zak is not the most sociable or flexible of folk. Whether he's on the job or back at home, he has a terrible time approaching people and letting others approach, especially on a personal level. Zak is not particularly open to the idea of "change", and uncertainty can easily throw this man into a fit of rage. Regardless of his behavior however (or perhaps as a result of it), Zak is very protective of the things he holds close, and he'll tear down anything that dares to threaten them.

HISTORY:
A bit of a brute even at a young age, Zak had a hard time keeping friends during his island life, being too aggressive and defensive to maintain a proper relationship for an extended period of time. Zak's attempts to prove himself to others would often go terribly wrong, being the abrasive and insecure child that he was. Because of this, how he formed a bond with Corey is a bit of a mystery, especially considering how opposed their behaviors and personalities were as kids. Regardless, these two are roommates and coworkers now; between Corey's teasing and Zak's reluctant tolerance of his friend, they make quite the dysfunctional pair.

In the end, Zak does enjoy the company - though it'll be a long time before he'll actually admit this.

Cage | Zak's still a little hesitant about committing to a relationship, but he's absolutely smitten with Cage and will show his gentler side when she's around.
