Beautiful, eye catching work, stark and violent yet graceful and eloquent and the same time. I like the sunlight on the page and the shadows, they enhance how the picture sits and feels quite natural. Just a lovely piece!

Thank you I have to say, I had to paint it quite quickly and had no proper plan when painting this!  Since i lacked the scanner, i took a pic with my camera, and first I was annoyed that i could not take it with proper light but then I realised it might actually look better if the shadows and the sunlight are shown in the picture
