Fixed a few things with this, I think it looks better now.Lion with feathers as a mane for Lion Day, which I believe is tomorrow.
I was going for a soft, more hair like feathers and based some of it on vultures.
And the color scheme is based on the Howl's Moving Castle book cover

This is phenomenal! I love the subtle hints of lighter color that bring out the wispy feathers and fur! The contrast within the piece itself works really well, and I feel like I could reach out a hand and just fluff this big kitty's mane (bad idea though, they'd probably get annoyed as all kitties do)
