Finally, they were almost to the other side of the river, and Rivid was still alive. He treaded slightly ahead of his Ox friend with Quill on her back but just as his feet reached the shallow, muddy banks, a sudden bolt of lightening went off as well as the flash. It was loud, and yes, he could hear it. Glancing over at Steek, she seemed to be a little unnerved. He looked along the shore of the river until he spotted Stoic and the stranger, only, the stranger was now cowering under him. Strange...
Quill lept from Steeks head and landed deep in the muddy shore of the river.

Steek struggled to the shore. Between the swimming and the climbing through mud, she was exhausted. The mud that wasn't submerged in the river was surprisingly tougher to pull her limbs from. Quill turned his head in an attempt to speak to them. Although she wasn't mean enough to say anything, Quills constant stuttering could drive her crazy. Spit it out already! The solid, comfortable looking grass was so close, yet, she was now unable to pull her legs from the muddy banks of the swollen river. Her legs were half deep in mud. Fear and panic began to set in. She felt trapped claustrophobic.
She didn't know that white dog over. This dog was positioned under her new friend, and for all she knew, about to tear out his innards.
"The dog is under you!" She yelled pointing out the obvious. What if that dog came after her while she was stuck? Her fears only began to build up more and more until she started thrashing.

"Whoa, watch it!" Yelled Rivid, he was just inches away from the dangerous horn of Steek. Rivid was also having some trouble maneuvering in the mud.

With the last of Steeks energy, she reared up her hind end, kicking backwards with as much force as possible. She landed hard, sinking her rear legs even deeper into the mud.
