I've been like that lately due to one reason only.
Lanky's Story - Event ChronologyAs Lanky is telling his story to DK and Diddy, he's going to tell every single event he remembers, in the order he remembers it happening in.
- Lanky is trying to convince his mother to let him go to DK Isle, but she won't listen
- Lanky's mother dyes Lanky's hair scarlet to prepare him for the Orang-Trooper initiation
- Lanky is introduced to the Orang-Troops' boss Manky, who's described as having "a menacing look in his eyes and a devastating smile that looked like it could cut through solid bone!" (that's how Lanky perceives Manky)
- Manky tries to get Lanky's name out of him, but he won't speak, being petrified by Manky's big, intimidating appearance
- Lanky's fear gets to the point where he tears up, leading the other recently-initiated troopers to call him a crybaby and laugh at him
- This makes Lanky have his first panic attack, seeing laughing faces everywhere
- Lanky describes this as "The feeling was almost otherworldly - almost like you're floating..."
