Rider: Blake DowdMy eagerness here almost cost me about $900...at least. The lens was ever-so-slightly closer to the wheel than I'd normally be comfortable with.
Of my first foray into park photography, this is the image I'm most pleased with. It was also the last of the day, so I think the late-afternoon lighting is the main factor.

Hehe, the look on the riders face in that one is classic. Did you lose your lens/camera? Yeah, this definitely taught me to be a bit more careful, particularly since the lens wasn't actually mine.

Broke the hotshoe flash bracket/cable mount and the hood popped off the lens but everything still works. Lucky me. gave me a bit of a shock though! I'll have to be real careful next week when I go out with my brand new 40D

I've had a rider or two hit my 10.5! Makes things look so much further away.
This is a perfectly timed shot though, nicely framed too... Love that close up frame-filling action.
