Okay...so I know this dress has great shades of Sailor Scouts but honestly, this style of sailor dress had been around for years & years since the 1940s even before Sailor Moon made it popular and I have to confess to liking this type of dress...it's pretty much what my mother tried to dress me in whenever she came home with dresses she'd bought from our local Op Shop or thrift store.I had thought of entering this into the Jemcon Fashion Contest for the Jerrica flip-side of Jem's American Beauty fashion. But whilst it carries across the patriotic color scheme of the flag, this fashion doesn't exactly utilize any other aspect of the Jem flip-side for American Beauty. I'm not even sure that outfit was originally designed to be a flip-side...but that's what the contest is. Anyway yeah...whilst I love this dress & an proud of it...it's hardly flip-side worthy. So I'm sharing it here & not going to enter this into the contest.

Thanks but I'm startin' to wonder if I should be doing any of this and uploading them to share on a public forum especially after seeing that DA feature on copyright law in regards to fan art. I've got it in my faves if you haven't already seen it but my only defense is that I do it to express my love of the show & I'm not making any money from any of this.

Lol, not that I have anything that folks can sue me for coz I only live pay day to pay day on my disability pension but I still don't like the idea of receiving a nasty letter from Hasbro or Mattel threatening legal action. Gosh I don't even live in the USA so I don't even know how international law affects copyrights & trademark infringements & so on.

I live in the USA and so far, I haven't received any nasty letters from the owners of my favorite shows and games so I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'm not good at talking about stuff like this.
