Sheila Burns AKA Jetta member of the Misfits band in "Jem & The Holograms". Her instrument of choice is the sexy saxophone & I suppose in keeping with her original black & white fashion outfit, her sax is black. This made drawing it from cartoon screen caps extremely difficult as it was hard to reproduce details like buttons, frets, holes, pipes etc. I'm not a musician myself & am not familiar with an actual saxophone but from looking at photos of real saxophones I can tell you that they are an amazingly intricate, complicated invention. I would have traced the lines of a real photo of a sax if I could have found one facing the right direction & that was photographed in the right perspective but I couldn't find such a photo. I even considered finding someone else's pre-drawn line art of a sax but again the ones I found were not in the correct perspective or facing the correct direction I needed for this picture. It wouldn't have been right to simply use what I could find & flip the image &/or use the rotate/skew tool to get it in the right perspective. Besides which, the sax looks different as far as the buttons, holes & such on the right side when compared to the left so it would have been incorrect to simply flip someone else's line art or clip art of a sax. So I do apologize to any musicians who may also play the sax if what I've drawn here is incorrect or inadequate. But as I said, it was difficult to gauge details from a screen cap when the instrument is black & any white lines showing any details are over simplified for the sake of the cartoon anyway. I would imagine that kids would not be so fussed about those details when watching the cartoon anyway.
